I always have so much color going on and making it more complex than it needs to be that it was a nice change to have a more natural appearance yet with some color. I kept the color on the lid with this one instead of above the crease like I always do.
If you're in a rush, this is great technique because all I used was a color enhancing base (Nice Vice p/p), one eyeshadow for the eyelid (Trax e/s), a transitional eyeshadow (Neutral Pink e/s), and a highlighter (Shroom e/s). In the pictures it looks like I added something to the outer V of my eyelid, but I didn't.
By concentrating the color on the eyelid, and transitioning out with a neutral color, you achieve a more natural appearance. And what's fun is that you can pack any color onto the lid, transition out neutrally, and have a simple yet fun look.
A couple hours in, I did a lip swap. Actually looks like my real lip color just more consistent and moisturized!
So tomorrow is V-Day? How do you folks plan on spending it?

Shawnta Thanks for the kudos girl. I'm am LOVING the BUFF'D!! Jen is awesome! When you use the foundation, do you use a lot of it? You know that mini measuring spoon you sent me? I use HALF of that for my foundation and that's it! It seems like so little. But any more than that and a lot rubs off as the day wears on because of oilies. I find that there's more color in rub offs with mineral foundation than with regular foundation. Do you notice this also?

And to answer your question, I am still going strong with the OCM. I'm liking it very much but I'd also like to try an OCM from Garden of Wisdom for the convenience that it's already made and that it'll last longer than the week batches I'm making because it contains preservatives. All still natural. I don't mind the homemade one at all, it would just be nice to not have to worry about having to make it sometimes :)

Ren I had that problem with I think 2 or 3 of my paint pots. You can ghetto style it and use the rubberband, lol. I just kept wiping my hands on my clothes! Hah.
And it's Buff'd foundation girl! This stuff is fantastic. It's lightweight and it's one that has the best color match for me. Definitely check them out :)

The only nuts I really like in chocolate are almonds. LOVE LOVE LOVE almonds. Walnuts and peanuts are ok but when I see the almond clusters in See's candy sets, they are gone without even thinking!

Nilla Cookie I'm actually very sensitive to salt. Growing up, my mom didn't put much salt on our food because my step-dad was a diabetic. So bland for most, is actually tasty for me, lol.
But I do have a sour tooth! I love sours. My latest fetish has been Airhead Extremes. Those are so good. They're not really sour, but do give you a slight pinch in the back of the jaw. I should enter a contest or something for a sour candy straight face. I can eat warheads without flinching, lol.
I didn't even ask Hubbo to help with the paint pots. I was scared he's put so much force into opening it that it'd slip outta his hands and we'd end up with a chalk outline on the floor.
OMG, I'd totally watch you in a sour candy eating contest!! That sounds like fun, actually. I like Airheads too, but anything that's super sour faces my face scrunch.
And, is it totally weird that my mouth just started to salivate at the thought of eating airheads?? dude, where can I get some RIGHT NOW??? LOL
My mouth is always salivating! Just thinking of candy, I'm like a damn waterfall, lol. The other day I was eating brownies and as I was taking it out of the wrapper, I had to swallow hard because my mouth literally oozed with saliva!
