Spring is just around the corner with purples and lilacs hitting the blogosphere FOTDs as an at-the- moment favorite. With inspiration looming, I decided to bring out my purples again and have me a little purple fever!
Parfait Amour is one of those colors that you either just love it or hate it. I know those of tanner complexions rant that this eyeshadow is not a workable color as it hardly shows the true color. I too have experienced a faint Parfait Amour. But I honestly believe you can optimize most eyeshadow colors by pairing it with the proper base and/or color enhancing base and a little bit of packing on the color. All that matters is whether or not you have the patience to take that on. In the end though, I'm sure the results will thank you :)
The full face shots aren't fresh as you can tell by my laziness in oily touch-up. Those were taken about 4 hours in when I finally had a moment to put on lipstick and time to snap the shots. As you might of guessed, I was occupied with my mini-mes. The eye shots are fresh though since my entire face didn't need to be ready to capture them.
Thank goodness we made it to the end of the work/school-week, again! Now, only a couple more days until the Fafi Unveiling Party! Woot. What's building excitement for you this weekend?

Ren OMG love! Mi'Lady is my favorite MES!!! I'm still heartbroken that mine is in pieces. But I love the shimmer in it and the specks of red. It is my absolute favorite. I think once you dip your brush into, you will fall in love with it, hah.
Boy, you are one busy lady this weekend, aren't ya'? Sounds like fun though. As for me, we will be celebrating Big Boy's 2nd birthday. It was on Tuesday, but we'll be having a few friends and family over to celebrate. Then the release on Sunday. I'm kind of nervous about going, hah. the worst part about my watery eyes is that it lasted like all day, and the slight wind i had today did not help that either. lol. oh and i love the look the colors are so pretty, i was planning on getting hepcat and parfait amour, maybe after i get my viet new years money hehe gotta love those red envelopes.

Do you have sensitive eyes or wear contacts? My eyes water if I THINK that something will irritate them, lol. But every now and then, my eyes will just whack out on me during the day and get watery for no reason. But it's normally accompanied with some sort of irritation.

It's Aloha Friday, no work 'til Monday... lol. I really love this look. It's so pretty! I too have found it hard to make some colors show up against my skin color, but paint pots have solved the problem. I have been in a purple/pink mood all week.
Parfait Amour has very little pigmentation on me, so I gave up on it a while back. Now that I have more products, I might just have to bust it out again and see if I can bring the color out because it's gorgeous in the pan!
With that being said, you look great! Spring's coming! :)
Fafi's going to be interesting, although I'm more interested in Heatherette! I think Fafi's going to be one of those things that I have to see in person before I decide whether ir Love it or hate it!

Hey girl, this looks great on you. I personally love purple/violets on Asian skintones. Do you have Violet pigment? I find it gives me all the colour of Parfair Amour without the annoying texture/lack of pigment.

Emilee Thanks love :) Parfait Amour is a very pretty color. But you really do have to find the right supporting base to really put it through it's true potential.
Unless you're a lippy, blush or iridescent powder person, I really think that the paint pots have some pull to them. The colors are so pretty. But I'm predicting that you'll take a stronger liking towards Heatherette even after you've seen Fafi. My gut says so, lol!
