FOTD: A Re-Created Pink/Purple and Everyday Minerals

I just want to start off by saying, "pinks and purples are hot!"

This is an offshoot of my first attempt at the Pink/Purple except now I'm using a more evident pink, Sushi Flower which was also by request. I completely forgot to try out my falsies and remembered after I had already applied my mascara. I've read you're supposed to apply mascara after you put the lashes on so that it blends with the fake ones. But thanks to a combination of L'Oreal: Double Extend base, then Voluminous, finished with Telescopic, my lashes are darker than ever. Holla.

For the foundation in here, I decided to go full on Sandy Medium. Please let me know what you think :)

Aloha,
Mrs. Lynne

pretty! the nyx lipgloss looks really good and I see why you love purples so much, they look great on you! your brows look great? what's in the stila brow set if you don't mind me asking?

-Shawnta: Great minds think alike :) I actually really love Sketch but when I want a little darker but not Carbon dark, I use Signed, Sealed (Matte2). I hope you do do a Sushi Flower, Hepcat look because I love seeing variations of the same colors.

-Nessa: I honestly am just a goofy person. My FOTDs hardly display that. If you want to get to my heart, just keep me laughing.

-psychoexgf: Thank you love! My new years was fabulous :)

-Ren: It's actually a lipstick (believe it or not!) but the NYX Lips line is great for my dry lips. And they're only like $4-5!

My brows actually need to be touched up. The edges of my pictures cropped out the strays, lol.

You know it's kind of dumb because it's not an actual brow set that I have from Stila, like MAC has. I got a Stila giftset a while back and in it was a pot of shadow for eyebrows so that's what I use. And on the back it doesn't have a color, it just says Stila Brow Set. *shrugs* I just looked on their site and now they have duos. Mine is only a single pot of color. But a dark brown eyeshadow works just the same. Sometimes I'll even use the dark grays from my MESs to fill in my brows if I don't want brown.

Hey love, the foundation looks GREAT on you, and your skin DOES look flawless. I love purples on you and the pink that you used also adds some pizzazz. love it! :D blending skills are SUPERB. :D oh, about the falsies, it's personal preference. i avoid putting mascara on my falsies because they don't last as long if you do. what i do is curl and apply mascara to my lashes first, let them dry, then apply my falsies. :] if need be, i apply mascara to the end of the lashes and just comb the two together once they're dry. :P i don't have a problem with double eyelashes this way. to be honest, experimentation is the best way to figure out how YOU like to apply you falsies. :D

yummy411: When I used to work at the bank our Internet was heavily monitored. So I know how that goes. Then even blocked gmail.com so I couldn't check email!

Chris: You know, I honestly didn't even think about putting them on after. I only thought, oh shoot. I forget to add them, lol. Sometimes my brain stops working like that. But I definitely do want to avoid putting as much mascara on them as possible. So I'll try adding them after. Next FOTD, I'll add them on :)
