FOTD: Naturally Engaging

Hope everyone had a good and "full"-filling Thanksgiving. I know I did. My son turned 1-month and we celebrated with a huge Thanksgiving feast! From turkey to mashed potatoes to spinach dip to beans w/bacon to crab, I was filled to the max. Only thing is now I'm fighting a cold that decided to hit me on Turkey Day - this, I'm not so thankful for because then I got my month old son sick :(

Anyhow, this is for my gal @ Yummy411 :) Here's my stab at Engaging.

The pink in this combination reminds me of Gleam e/s - eck, gag me. It's an extremely sheer (almost invisible) shade of pink and acts more as a shimmer overlay than anything. Highlighter, perhaps? I'm not much of an all eye shimmer gal, but more of a lid shimmer gal. So I don't think I'll be using this half of Engaging as much.

Love to hear your feedback and/or suggestions or requests.

i love the way you do your eyeshadows, very natural and elegant. ive seen you use some NYX eyeshadows, do they last long as MAC eyeshadow products?

Awwww, as you know I just got over being sick so I certainly hope you get well soon. You and the baby! I am just blown away by your application. Always so lovely. And let's not even get on the perfection of your fluidline. What's your secret? The way the line goes from super thin to slightly larger is just insanely beautiful!

hi there, i cannot for the lif eof me figure any other way to respond to your comment than through this.
about the camera cost, yeah, it's just for the body, i've been t old the lenses they usually come with are iffy and not so great if you are want somethign of a higher standard, that's why planned on getting the sigma lens:)

Thank you everyone for your warm wishes :)

-Shawnta: It's almost scary, huh?

-Nilla: i LOVE LOVE LOVE spinach dip. I love the crunch of the water chestnuts and loading up my bread ridiculously with it.

-Yummy411: I think the pink in Engaging is rather disappointing. And in regards to Uppity, I think I'll hold on to mine but Goldmine with Mixing Medium does the job just as well for liner.

-sweetxtornado: Thank you for the compliment :) The holding power of NYX shadows is fairly competitive with that of MAC eyeshadows, in my experience. Soft in texture, they adhere nicely to your base of choice.

-Divine: Thank you kindly. All I can tell you is that the 208 has given me more control in regards to lining in general. LOVE IT!

-Christiana: Much mahalos :)

-Alyssia: Thank you for the encouragement :)

-Squeem: I agree. I was looking at a Sigma lens also. Read so many great things about them.
