Whenever I think of an eyelid full of silver eyeshadow, I think of robots and their silver tin can appearance. Bender of Tin Man anyone?
A few weeks ago, I purchased a very loud Fuchsia-like color by NYX. In all honesty, I don't ever think I could wear Chloe on its own anywhere because:

A few weeks ago, I purchased a very loud Fuchsia-like color by NYX. In all honesty, I don't ever think I could wear Chloe on its own anywhere because:
- it's not a fashionable fuchsia but more like a theatrical fuchsia,
- it doesn't do too well with my skin tone in it's pure form, and
- its a bit too striking in it's appearance that I would truly be asking for unwanted stares and gawks.

Chloe on its own was too bright so I toned it down a bit by adding some of the NYX Platinum Chrome Eyeshadow mixed with Aquaphor and dabbed it over the Chloe lipstick.

Hmm..never been a fuschia fan bc I feel like it's a little too pink for my tan skin, but I liked how you paired it with the silver look.

On it's own, OMG Chloe is blinding - seriously!! I can't even wear it around the house for fear of being made fun of by Hubbo! Lol. But on it's own, it definitely is more a theatrical color. Which is partly why it took me a while to come up with a way to use it.
A wedding, how fun! I would use the same dress. Definitely have to make full use of the hard earned money we spend ;) Well, now that it's Sunday, how did the wedding go?

Ren Hiya sis! The base is actually foiled in here. I was doing a base trial with NYX's Chrome Eyeshadows which are in pigment form using a homemade mixing medium & FIX+. Then I placed MAC's Electra e/s over it. For some reason, I can never just foil a pigment and just leave it. I always have to put something over it to set it.
